U.S. urges tougher sanctions on Libya
Article Abstract:
The UN Security Council on Mar 30, 1995, rejected a US proposal that would have enacted stiffer sanctions against Libyan oil exports. The US proposal was prompted by Libya's refusal to extradite two men suspected of bombing the 1988 Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland.

Study sees little societal impact
Article Abstract:
The National Research Council reported that most people are not affected much by the AIDS epidemic because most AIDS victims are members of 'marginalized' population sectors. The study also addressed clinical research, religion, prisons and voluntary groups.
