A disappointing start
Article Abstract:
UK Labour Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown may fail to deliver the promises that he made regarding fiscal reform as an analysis of the fiscal policy that he advocates clearly reveals discrepancies on the macro and microeconomic levels. Brown advocates policies that would reduce consumer spending by increasing certain taxes. However, the taxes that he increased do not address the much needed reforms that he promised. UK's fiscal policy does little harm to the health of the country's economy but it does not do a lot of good either.

Investment brown-out
