A job with life ... not a job for life

Article Abstract:

A recent survey of young people entering the employment market found that they have clear ideas about the quality of life they expect to have. They want a career with prospects and a competitive salary but they are not prepared to devote all their energies to their career at the expense of having a life outside work. Only 16% of people surveyed wanted a managerial position because of the stress and long hours involved. Olders colleagues often resent these younger people who expect so much from life.

There are a number of products being offered to keep intruders from using companies' computer systems. Most of the systems try to close out intruders so they cannot even get into the system. Security for mainframe computers is typically callback devices which answer the phone, wait for an identification code, hang up, and then call the user back. These systems have a number of problems.
