A new but risky sort of war
Article Abstract:
The US is using computers to train its military personnel, and other new techniques such as counselling skills are also being taught. US soldiers are being trained to tackle problems such as riots, guerilla warfare, and food distribution. They have already had to tackle all three challenges at once in a number of locations. Precision weapons can be used to hit targets with little risk of those using them being attacked. Yet men still have to be used in warfare and there is still a risk of their being wounded.
