Electronic Arts Canada (EA) has chosen a person with an extensive background in marketing consumer products as its next president. Glenn Wong, used to manage the Tide brand for Procter and Gamble and was the vice-president for marketing at Nabob Foods. EA chose Wong because it has realized the importance of marketing to the company. He said that electronic gaming industry is fast becoming a mass-market item. He noted that video games are can already be found in Toys 'R' Us and Wal-Mart, which means that EA needs a very good sales and marketing group to understand the retail side of the business.

Article Abstract:
The younger audience view the art form as stuffy, irrelevant and unappealing as the presentation of symphonic music has remained unchanged for the pat 300 years. But Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) changed the scenario by throwing out dated programming and taking the symphony to different communities and funky locations, introducing technology and programming that would appeal to the youth.
