Continental Teves CZ (Jicin, Czech Republic), brake equipment manufacturer, will modernize and enlarge its plant during 2002-2006. The investment costs on the project should be CEK 2 bil. The project's investor is the parent company Continental (Germany). About 670 new jobs should be set up after the completion of the project.

Okula to set up a joint venture
Article Abstract:
Okula (Nyrsko, Czech Republic), spectacle rim and plastic products company, will set up a joint venture with the holding company Axium (France). The Czech-French firm will produce special blown-out plastic packaging. The products will be intended for the cosmetic and food products industries, among others.
