Ad Age Group buys Media International

Crain Communications Europe LLC has acquired London, UK-based Media International magazine from Reed Business Information for an undisclosed amount, in a deal that will bolster Crain's Ad Age Group line of marketing publications. The Ad Age Group is composed of top publications that include Advertising Age International, Creativity, Advertising Age and Business Marketing. Monthly publication Media International will be incorporated into the Ad Age International publishing schedule.

Magazine group sails for Sweden
Article Abstract:
De Telegraaf Holdings of the Netherlands has acquired Svensk Special Press (SSP) of Stockholm, Sweden, for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will enable De Telegraaf, which previously concentrated on publishing magazines in Dutch, to expand and establish a market in Sweden according to Telegraaf Magazines Group General Director Hans van Ketel. De Telegraaf publishes a number of titles including Man, Oor, Elegance and Autovisie.
