An alternating-move price-setting duopoly model with stochastic costs
Article Abstract:
The nature of price wars and the conditions arising out of firms alternating price cuts with each other in deviations off of the equilibrium are studied as also the cases where the technology gap is not so large between the firms. Situations where rival firms repeatedly undercut each otherEs prices are examined with examples and the conclusions.
