The effect of the termination of 30-year-old Multifibre Arrangement (MFA) in 2005 that regulates $500 billion world trade in textiles on the economy of Bangladesh have been provided. The failure of the Bangladesh government to provide other avenues of employment to its workers in the event of closure of garment factories that employs half of its total workers has been mentioned.
