A Weaver's Memoir: Jack Lenor Larsen
Article Abstract:
Textile designer Jack Lenor Larsen shares his childhood, career and travels in 'A Weaver's Memoir.' Over the years, he has created several living and working environments for himself, in what he calls a quest for 'a sense of place.' Also a garden and landscape designer, Larsen has learned many lessons from gardens, such as the reticent color combinations in nature and the extraordinary visual appeal of dune gardens or beaches, where no colors and forms distract or dominate.
