The Iranian government has allowed the publication of former Shah mistress Parvin Ghaffari's revealing book regarding her memoirs. novelists are enthusiastic that an end to censorship might be at hand in the country. The book 'Till Darkness' should have been censored under the law but the fact that it was not has novelists hopeful that restrictions might soon be eased if not lifted altogether.

Article Abstract:
Many opera buffs are lamenting the contemporary period, believing there is a lack of the great singers of the past. There does seem to be fewer of the great vocal talents, with one of the reasons being that many promising stars work too much and hurt their voices. Other reasons are discussed.
