Building future generations
Article Abstract:
Roger McMeeking has been bursar of York university since its establishment in 1964. The university buildings benefitted from generous patronage from the Department of Education and remain successful and flexible. McMeeking introduced a continuous maintenance programme on completion of the original buildings and has kept them in good condition. He is enthusiastic about the opportunities for universities to become self financing and works to maximise the value of the land, accommodation and staff of the university.

The Manolo Blahnik show featuring women's shoes is being held at the Design Museum in London, England. Data Nature Associates carried out the design of the exhibition. A review of the exhibition is given.
