SEAFOOD EXPORTS TO EUROPE MAY SPURT IN 98-99
Article Abstract:
India's marine products' exports to the European Union (EU) may increase in 1998-99 as 59 firms have already been granted clearances for exporting the marine products to the EU. Another 20 firms are awaiting clearance. During April-November 1998, India exported seafood worth $100.71 million ($76.14 million worth during April-November 1997). In terms of volume, the exports have increased by 7,641 tonnes from 24,273 tonnes. (um)(psr)
