Canadian takes care in rebranding

Canadian Airlines International Ltd's C$38-million image revamp, including a national advertising campaign, is developed to position the company as a 'confident and caring' carrier. Aside from the new ad campaign, which was created by Toronto, Ontario-based Gee Jeffery & Partners, the carrier's new look will comprise of a stylized, bright-blue Canada goose logo, new menus created by 12 of the leading chefs in the country, re- designed cabin interiors and new blue, white and red uniforms for employees, among others.

Canadian cinnamon buns savoured in Asia

Calgary, Alberta-based Cinnaroll Bakeries Ltd, which operates 25 Cinnzeo outlets in Western Canada, has successfully expanded in Asia and is looking to further its expansion in the region as well as in Eastern Canada and the US. In the Philippines, has 10 Cinnzeo franchises and plans to add 30 more by 2002. The company has also inked a deal with an international franchisee that plans to open 50 Cinnzeo stores throughout Southeas Asia.
