Carnival-P&O talks aren't continuing

Carnival Corp. announced that its acquisition negotiations with Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co. were not being continued. Carnival is the largest cruise ship operator in the world and is based in Miami, Florida. Peninsular & Oriental is a diversified conglomerate based in London, England. Carnival said that it was interested in acquiring Peninsular & Oriental's cruise ship operations.

Ogden to sell entertainment, aviation units
