Changing times
Article Abstract:
The 'Climate Change' and 'Sustainable Energy Bill' was given its first reading in Parliament and it was passed relatively unscathed through its second reading since it was due to go to the committee within the next few weeks. The passage of this bill mirrored and reinforced the Energy White Paper and the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive and its main purpose was to increase the mechanisms by which the UK contributes to 'combating climate change'.
