Coopers & Lybrand Corporate Finance
Article Abstract:
Coopers & Lybrand Corporate Finance regards providing an advisory service to management buyout and buy-in teams as a core activity, and is one of the few accounting firms with a discrete team of MBO specialists. Lybrand acted on 55 completed deals worth 940 million pounds sterling in the first eight months of 1995, and says that since 1992 it has acted on a third of all deals by value. One trend which has been noticed by Lybrand partner Peter Jacobs is towards higher quality deals and higher quality services from MBO practitioners.
