Corporate governance in Russia: a framework for analysis
Article Abstract:
The study and analysis of corporate governance, taking into account the cultural embeddedness and agency and stakeholder prespectives is seen as crucial for transition economies. This belief has been highlighted by the obstacles such as, critical storage of investment facing Russia's attempts to join the World Trade Organization.

The emergence of corporate governanace in Russia
Article Abstract:
The four stages of Russia's economic transition from mid-1980s to 2003, namely, commercialization, privatization, nomenclature and statization, have been discussed in relation to corporate governance. The government's economic objectives have been summarized for each stage.
