Credit Agricole's profit rose 9.8 percent in fourth quarter

Credit Agricole S.A. of France posted a 9.8 percent increase in fourth quarter net profit to 1.11 billion Euros ($1.46 billion) from 1.01 billion Euros last year. Revenue at the banking interest is increased 14 percent to 4.21 billion Euros. Operating costs are up 15 percent to 2.85 billion Euros.

BNP profit rises, boosted by retail, investment units
