Denmark: DONG critical of the planned oil tax

DONG, the State-owned Danish oil company, has joined other oil companies and levels criticism of the government's plan for tightening oil taxes. DONG's protests are sensational as in doing this the company goes against its owner. The oil companies submitted their protest to the tax ministry on Tuesday.

DENMARK: US COMPANY INVESTS IN OIL FIELD
Article Abstract:
US oil company Amerada Hess will invest another DKr 1.7 bn (US$ 243 mn) in the Syd-Arne oil field in the North Sea. The investment will be used to establish water injection technology. Earlier, the US company has invested DKr 4.3 bn in the field.
