DENMARK: NORWEGIANS TO INVEST IN PROPERTY
Article Abstract:
Norwegian investors are planning to make huge investments in property in the Copenhagen region. On 18 January, 15 investors visited Copenhagen in order to further study the possibilities. The Norwegian estate agent Thor Bjordahl, Colliers, says Norway is characterised by much capital but few projects to invest in, and therefore Norwegian investors have to go abroad. One of the investors is Kommunernes Livs- og Pensionsselskap Eiendom (KLP), which is going to start an investment company in Copenhagen in the next few weeks. KLP expects property in Denmark to account for 10-15% of its property portfolio in future.
