DENMARK: REDUCED ORDERS FOR FLEXTRONICS IN PANDRUP
Article Abstract:
The large cut downs at Flextronics International does not hit the Flextronics mobile phone factory in Pandrup, as it was already hit by large reductions in the work force last month. It is struck by reduced orders from the major customer Siemens, however. Heinrich Pierer, Manager of Siemens, does not want to give any detailed information on the reasons for the reduced orders. The increase in turnover at Flextronics International has fallen from 75 percent in 2000, to 40 percent the first quarter of this year.

DENMARK: BUILDING PROJECT PUT ON HOLD
Article Abstract:
The project to build headquarters for Intel and its subsidiary Giga in Kong Svends industrial park near Copenhagen has been put on hold until the parties have reached an overview of their future structure and needs, according to Intel /Giga's group information manager Marit Bruhn-Petersen. This is the biggest commercial building project initiated in Denmark this year.

DENMARK: RTX TO EXPAND HEADQUARTERS
Article Abstract:
RTX Telecom, that develops mobile phones, is to take on another 150 employees and has thus initiated construction work to expand headquarters in Norresundby. RTX Telecom's premises in Arhus are also being re-constructed to make room for 60 new employees.
