DENMARK: SLAUGHTER-HOUSES REDUCE PORK PRODUCTION
Article Abstract:
The production of the Danish high-quality pork labelled "Quality with care" will be reduced. Both the major slaughter-house Danish Crown and the minor slaughter-house Tican will adjust production to demand from retailers, and this means smaller volumes. The label was introduced by the Danish Food Ministry; and the Ministry has invested DKr 3-4mn (USD 0.4-0.6mn) in an on-going campaign.
