Denmark: Telia to further reduce staffing levels
Article Abstract:
Telia, the Swedish telecom, is to further reduce staffing levels in Denmark. 60 employees, 50% of whom are consultants, will be made redundant as a consequence of the merger of Telia's networking company in Denmark with its fixed telephony operations. Previously this year, about 100 employees have been made redundant. This means Telia will have about 450 employees in Denmark by the end of 2001.
