DENMARK: WEAK RUSSIAN MARKET AFFECTS AARSLEFF

The Danish construction company Per Aarsleff is affected by a weakening of the Russian market, and this makes the estimated 1999/2000 annual pre-tax result being reduced by about DKr 10mn to DKr 105mn (USD 12mn). Aarleff's Finnish subsidiary, which is a supplier of pipe technology to Russia, will report a significant loss for the fiscal year.
