Japan is importing vast amounts of plutonium and by 2010 should have about 90 tons of it, which is how much the US and ex-Soviet Union have left in their nuclear arsenals. Nations around the world are very concerned about the environmental implications of Japan's commitment to nuclear energy.

Indian officials found over 4,000 kilos of RDX, the explosive used in many terrorist bombings in Bombay. The smugglers of the explosive say foreign Islamic groups were behind the bombings. Pakistan and Afghanistan are suspected of cooperating with terrorists.
