Efficiency of banks in a developing economy: the case of India
Article Abstract:
A study to measure the productive efficiency of banks in a developing country, that is India, is given and the measured variation in the performance is explained. Two models are constructed to show how efficiently scores vary with change in inputs and outputs.

Allocative efficiency of technically inefficient production units
Article Abstract:
An approach to measure allocative efficiency without presuming technical efficiency and comparing the approach to the technical one is discussed. The necessary and sufficient approaches and theirs interpretations are presented.
