Interest in operating leasing
Article Abstract:
Czech Republic: The Association of Leasing Companies (ALC), the Czech Republic, expects the importance of operating leasing to increase prospectively. ALC saw stagnation in the leasing of movable assets in 1998. The volume of the leasing increased by only 0.5 bil Kc in 1998 compared to 63 bil Kc in 1997. The main reason for the stagnation was a lack of financial sources. The volume of immovable assets leasing increased 3.5 times to 4.366 bil Kc in 1998 compared to 1.226 bil Kc in 1997.
