European shares close at two month low

European stocks suffered significant losses on November 19, 2007, with pan-European index Dow Jones Stoxx 600 falling 2.2% to 354.70, the largest single-day decline in the past two months. The UK's FTSE 100 index was down 2.7% to 6,120.80, while France's CAC 40 dropped 1.7% to 5,432.57 and Germany's DAX 30 fell 1.3% to 7,511.97.

Metals rally, boosting European shares
