Facebook: the future of networking with customers
Article Abstract:
Facebook, a social networking Web site, is challenging traditional research through its Facebook Polling feature. This feature allows users to create a question and specify a sample size. Results will then appear in their Facebook account. Despite Facebook's popularity, it is believed that the Web site will not immediately replace conventional market research.

Understanding retail experiences - the case for ethnography

An ethnographic research on consumer experiences in retail spaces is presented to understand the whole retail experience. A 'toolkit' for market researchers to help with data collection and strategies for analyzing retail ethnography are given.
