The design management construction company City Axis has renovated the Fitzovia building in London, England, for The Sci-Fi Channel company at a cost of 250,000 pounds sterling. The offices have been redesigned to incorporate ideas from science fiction films and television series. The reception area was seen to be particularly important and includes a talking robot working on wires. The refit took around two months to complete and the designs are expected to last for five years.

Architectural firm Patel Taylor acted as its own client for a mixed residential and office development in Camden Town, north London, England. This approach allowed considerable flexibility, and a large part of the work was undertaken after the firm moved into the building. A timber staircase leads from the ground floor to a mezzanine meeting area, which in turn gives views across the 5 mt high main office space.
