Executives take the offensive as outlook improves
Article Abstract:
Asian executives are more inclined to undertake a restructuring in 1999 as they perceive better times ahead for the region's economy. The regional outlook is the result of a survey conducted by Grassroots Research in May 1999, on 58 executives from nine Asian countries. The survey, which shows a definite improvement in the attitudes of Asian businessmen compared to 1998, also highlights an improved willingness to take actions that will boost their respective businesses.
