Game site doubles as focus group

Toronto, Ontario-based Grey Interactive has launched a youth-oriented market research Web site, youtopia.com. The site, which is based in Ottawa, Ontario, compiles data on teens' product preferences, spending patterns and product knowledge. Youtopia attracts teens to its site through a branded game that allows visitors to rack points which are redeemable as a store certificate or online coupon that can be spend at 20 retailers in Canada. Prior to its launching, the site has already compiled data on 200,000 teens.
