The Canadian Embassy in Japan has helped at least 30 Canadian artists to break into Japan's US$3.8 billion music market from 2004 to 2007. The embassy could help the artists gain exposure through one-on-one sessions with the Japanese media or through debut concerts with Japanese industry representatives at the embassy's in-house theatre.
