The company supports the families that help gather the fruit that they use to create their liqueur by never rejecting any fruit that the families sell to them. Distell also supports an Elephant research program in Durban.

Combining holiday gift giving and corporate social responsibility can be achieved by giving donations to an employee's preferred charity or even involving the employees in social causes like volunteering for food banks. Being a good corporate citizen increases employee morale and builds loyalty.
