Gordon Bonnyman: Profile Charterhouse
Article Abstract:
Charterhouse Development Capital (CDC) has been criticised by the media for selling its acquisitions for a large profit. Gordon Bonnyman, Managing Director of CDC, points out that CDC purchases a company with the intention of managing it until the time is right to sell not wholly to make a profit. Financial support comes from the USA company Bankers Trust for whom Bonnyman worked for several years before he moved to CDC in 1990. CDC is now moving into Europe where it has been very successful in France and is developing its business profile in Germany.
