Gtech will increase its investments in the Czech Republic
Article Abstract:
Sazka (Prague, Czech Republic), betting and lottery firm, will purchase an enlarged on-line terminal network from Gtech CR (Prague, Czech Republic). The network will be able to ensure 10,000 transactions per minute after reconstruction. The extension of the network's capacity will be financed by Gtech (US), which invested USD 56 mil in the Czech Republic till 2000. The firm will increase its investments in the Czech Republic by another USD 12 mil during 2001-2002. Gtech CR is a branch of Gtech.

Siemens Automobilove Systemy to increase production
Article Abstract:
Siemens Automobilove systemy (SAS) (Frenstat pod Radhostem, Czech Republic), automotive component manufacturer, will increase its production. The firm plans to invest CEK 1.275 bil in its plant in Frenstat-pod-Radhostem and to set up 432 new jobs by 2004. The firm has received investment incentives for the extension of the plant.
