Hard luck, Bambi
Article Abstract:
Significant environmental problems are emerging in Sea Pines Plantation, the upmarket residential area of Hilton Head Island, SC. Water supplies are being contaminated by chemicals used on gardens and golf courses, as well as by petrol discharged from boats, and traffic congestion has reached crisis levels. Deer eat many garden plants, and are frequently involved in collisions with cars. The University of Georgia's School of Forestry has responded by developing a plan to restrain the deer.
