Higher and higher?
Article Abstract:
The overvalued US stock market has caused many potential buyers to look to the European and UK markets for possible mergers and takeover deals, causing the Private Company Price Index (PCPI) to reach its second highest ever level during the third quarter of 1999. Difficulties could arise should the US market suffer a dip in activities which would result in fewer deals being concluded on the European side of the Atlantic.
