Desperately seeking an agenda
Article Abstract:
The Republican Party is holding meetings with supporters in order to improve its chances in elections. The party offers tax cuts, though they are not especially popular among voters at a time when wages and stock prices are rising. The Clinton administration offers tax credits for care-givers and mothers who remain at home. There are divisions among the Republicans and many of their policies are similar to those of President Bill Clinton. The Republicans could seek to achieve reforms, and Social Security is one area that could be reformed.
