How fast and how far?
Article Abstract:
Iranians favor change, though there is disagreement as to how rapid that change should be. The Islamic Participation Front brings together candidates from 18 groups, and calls for a free press, law enforcement with respect for the rights of citizens, and a judiciary that is not involved in politics. This is the ticket of the president, Muhammad Khatami, while Servants of Construction is an opposing group with more emphasis on free markets and less on social reform.
