Article Abstract:
Cableuropa SA, a US-Spanish cable consortium, launched new cable-television, Internet and telephone services in Valencia, Spain, through the corporate brand, Ono, in its effort to become the initial integrated cable operator to battle Telefonica SA of Spain. In October 1998, the company will try to offer the same array of services in Spanish cities such as Cadiz, Palma de Majorca, Albacete and Murcia aside from Valencia, which is the third-biggest city in the country.
