DoCoMo Inc.'s President Keiji Tachikawa discusses the Japanese company's finances and plans for the future. A unit of Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp., DoCoMo Inc.'s net income increased by 45% during the past year, due primarily to growth in i-mode mobile Internet service. The company plans to lower rates on mobile phones and will recall 420,000 units of the Sony SO503I Java-enabled cellular phone, expecting slower growth in the next year.
