Ideas in store: Adjaye/Associates' first public building, an Idea Store for Tower Hamlets, is a striking landmark, built in a tight urban context and making inventive use of materials
Article Abstract:
The Idea Store building is strikingly stylish and very different from the others in the area but at the same time is not aloof and blends in with the surroundings. The materials used are cheap and are used in an articulate and elemental manner making the Tower Hamlets an uplifting and friendly building.
