Improved protection for Swedish CV90 infantry vehicles
Article Abstract:
Hagglunds Vehicle AB has been awarded a contract worth about $14 million to supply 55 protection kits for Swedish Army CV90 infantry combat vehicles. As part of the contract, the CV9040B variants will be upgraded for use by the Swedish international rapid reaction forces, which are expected to participate in the European Union rapid reaction forces beginning 2003. The protection kits will be equipped with mine protection as well as external add-on armor and internal liners.

Ukrainian armored personnel carriers are delivered to Jordan
Article Abstract:
Malyshev of the Ukraine delivered 50 BTR-94 8 x 8 armored personnel carriers (APCs) to the Jordanian armed forces in Jan 2000. The BTR-94 is a modified version of the Russian-made BTR-80 wheeled APC and was developed by Malyshev developed in collaboration with the Morozov Design Bureau of Russia. The BTR-94s are expected to be used by the Jordanian Royal Guard and Jordanian Arab Army.
