Article Abstract:
Jiangxi Copper's initial public offering has made investors wary of the company's potential to make a profit. Investor worries about the stock include wild, fluctuating prices and possible entry of China into the World Trade Organization, which could lower prices of metals thereby lowering the company's profitability. Asean turns to 'constructive intervention.' (Association of South east Asian Nations on Cambodia)
Article Abstract:
The Assn of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) is seeking to improve security in the region by engaging nations in constructive political affairs. As with its condemnation of political repression in Cambodia, ASEAN is showing an increased maturity for handling global affairs and should maintain its stature in the international arena. The new approach does not violate any non-interference principles set by the association.
