Jihlavske Sklarny Bohemia to raise production
Article Abstract:
Jihlavske sklarny Bohemia (JSB) (Jihlava, Czech Republic), glass company, plans to invest nearly CEK 1 bil in the extension of its production in 2001. The company should set up 200 new jobs by the realization of an investment programme by 2004. The firm's proceeds should double by 2003 compared to CEK 500 mil in 2000. JSB has received an investment incentive in the form of an income tax reduction up to CEK 396 mil from the Office for Fair Trading of the Czech Republic.

ZBS will invest about CEK 40 mil in 2001

Zeleznobrodske sklo (ZBS) (Zelezny Brod, Czech Republic), glass artificial jewellery manufacturer, plans to invest about CEK 40 mil in the modernization of its production and technology in 2001. In 2000 ZBS invested more than CEK 23 mil, mainly in machines and equipment. ZBS is an important manufacturer of glass artificial jewellery semi-products in the Czech Republic.
