Article Abstract:
Novelist John Irving has been famous for many books such as "The World According to Garp", which later became a movie that starred Robin Williams, and "A Prayer for Owen Meany". His new book entitled "A Widow for a Year" is about a mother who abandons her philandering husband and four-year-old daughter. The mother left her husband and daughter since she has yet to come to terms with the death of her two older sons. The new book has been translated in German and Irving has treated 700 of his Swiss fans to three excepts from the book by setting parts on the novel in Zurich, Switzerland.
