SATYAM COMPUTER RECEIVES SEI-CMM LEVEL 5 RECOGNITION

Satyam Computer Services Ltd has been assessed at level 5 as per the US-based Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM). The assessment was done by Global Systems Technology of the US, the authorised assessors for SEI. It is the first Indian company to attain a level 5 maturity rating at its first company-wide assessment. (khr)

BLUE STAR SOFTWARE UNIT TO BECOME SEPARATE CO

Blue Star's software division will soon become a separate company called Blue Star Infotech as the demerger process is fast being completed. The new entity will have an equity base of Rs10 crore. Existing shareholders will hold a 68 percent stake in the company, Blue Star Ltd will hold 29 percent while the rest will be held by employees. (khr)
