MEDICAMENTS
Article Abstract:
Zimbabwe may soon suffer a serious shortage of medications. Because the price of medications has doubled since November 1997, orders were reduced. There may also be a domino effect resulting from fact that the Zimbabwe dollar fell 33% compared with the United States dollar since the beginning of 1998, and 36% compared with the French franc, which has led to delays in payments to suppliers.
